I set out to do a 40 mile bike ride on the rail trail ... flat tire at Mile 26 ... so I got to run the last 14 back to the car.  So much for a day of running rest!Ran with the bike at my side the first couple miles until I came to a crossroad where I could stash it.  Made for a pretty long day.

Woah, sounds like an adventure. At least it didn't happen at mile 20.

Joe, I passed an old guy on the trail, he told me I needed to carry a pump with me, I didn't bother explaining it would require a lot more than that to fix it!

Andrea, well I was going to run next to my dad on the bike tomorrow, but might have to reassess that! Sat & Sun will definitely be off days though with a family reunion & travel. At least it was a soft surface trail & I went easy.

Trap, nope ... thankfully trail shoes ... I was riding my dad's classic 3 speed cruiser!

40 miles on a 3 speed cruiser is a workout and a half! I think you got off easy with the run :)
