I sense a trend here of high mileage...:-)

Haha ... whatever gave you that idea?

My goal for my last marathon was 3 months of 200 miles, but I hate running in the summer. In September I jumped from 150 to 224 (including 5 races), which in hindsight was too much & probably contributed to my stiff legs for my marathon. But I do think it helped take me to the next level ... as my legs are much less sore than they were in September.

I now have 5 months to get ready ... and I love running in cooler weather. The plan is just run an hour a day, but if I am not sore and want to run farther I will ... so far, so good! :)

What's it like to always be throttling your speed back ? Your legs really like to go fast don't they :-)

I agree, way too much horsepower under that hood.
