Comfortable 10 in sunny 68 degree weather ... starting to feel like 7:30 should be my go to pace in 9 days & just deal with the discomfort the last 10 miles & hang on as best as I can. I also am a little concerned that I may take off faster out of the gate than 7:30 ... although I know this would be a BAD idea!

 Ok ... just decided:

Stretch Goal:  sub 3:15

A Goal:  sub 3:18

B Goal:  sub 3:25 (which gets me a BQ for next year)

Adios II Miles: 10.00

Knowing myself, I'll be jumping out fast too....we'll make it!

For my money, I think you have the A goal in the bag, and a pretty good shot at your stretch goal.

Don't be taking off too fast out of the gate....You know I'll be watching you!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Joe ... I changed my A goal to 3:18, because I looked up the cutoff for Wave 1 for this year & it is something like 3:18:30 ... so breaking 3:18 has a lot more meaning than breaking 3:20!

I am going to try to contain myself Preston, but it will be really hard with a gradual downhill start & the fact that I am likely to get run over by all the people around me that are going to have a faster time goal!
